Before we arrive, we ask what can and cannot be shown.
For schools, that may include student media rules, opt-out lists, classroom limits, or areas that should not be filmed. For nonprofits and associations, it may include staff privacy, client privacy, member privacy, or internal program details.
We follow the organization’s rules. We do not assume permission.
On filming days, we watch for details that should stay out of the frame.
That can include names, rosters, login screens, grades, paperwork, medical information, private client details, and sensitive staff materials.
If something should not be visible, we avoid it, reframe the shot, blur it, or remove it from the edit.
Most projects are handled with a small crew so the workday can continue normally. Crew members are expected to stay professional, follow the plan, and avoid personal behind-the-scenes posting.
Before anything is finalized, the client reviews the video. That review matters because the organization knows its people, policies, and audience better than we do.
The goal is simple: show the work without exposing people who should not be exposed.
